The PICU rooms on the 4th floor are horrible, they are not family friendly and havent even given my husband and i a chair to sleep in while my 4 month old recovers from surgery after asking since 10am for one its now 8pm and nothing. No surgeon has spoke to me about the surgery and no one else can answer any questions. We are forced to be in a room with a sick child next to us... they have been promising to change our room since this morning and nothing has happened. My daughter has been a patient many times during her transplants and diabetes stays at mt. Sinai..... I can only say my daughter is alive only because of god and her team at mt. Sinai ! Recently, my daughter had a severe hemmorage and was successfully operate on by the director of surgery himself. The care from the nurses and drs, technicians, everyone was outstanding. I owe them so much more than a thank you. God bless u all !
