The pretty photos on this page are nice, but what matters most is patient care and they fall a little short there. I had a so-so experience in their ER yesterday. People were very nice, but disorganized. But, yes, almost everyone was very nice. However, five people asked me what meds I take. I was discharged, still not able to walk, and the paramedic left me standing alone in the vestibule juggling crutches and a laptop bag, rather than waiting with me and accompanying me into my Uber. My wife is pregnant and needed medical attention on 11/23/2018 and the insurance is sending the referral to the Monte Sinai hospital. We are very grateful for the great service, the entire staff was very attentive and professional, everything went very well and from arrival to departure. I highly recommend the hospital and the staff. Gustavo and Quezia. Brazil.
came asking for the help for my heart, they did not direct me to cardiologist from ER due lack of insurance. Only direct visits and probably just financial situation. Then let me out with high blood pressure and just a couple of prescriptions.
I’m laying in a bed on the 7th floor since being transferred from the Aventura location at 2am. I have a serious heart condition and was diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs. I had an echocardiogram done this morning, however, the dr. has refused to come speak to me, relay the results & explain the plan of action. I am appalled. I have two young children at home, in tears, and I can’t even tell them what’s going on or when I’ll see them. This is absurd beyond belief. And now, this said dr. is still refusing to come see me,... read more
The care has not been bad, but my goodness the facilities need some updating. My father is in room 735 and wow is it tiny. I don’t understand how administration could possibly think that someone can properly recover from major surgery when they are put in rooms this small to be shared with someone else. The two beds and 2 chairs barely fit in this room, the nurses cannot even properly maneuver their equipment here. It truly is the worst hospital room setup I have ever seen.
😡Horrible service today due to the Dispatch Dept of Zuni Transportation to Mt.Sinai Medical Center, was told to be waiting, one hour and half hour before my appointment outside waiting with my walker before they picked me up and when I concluded my tests, I called and was told, it was to be a half hour which okay - but then it became an hour, I called them and was told another half hour wait...dispatchers were rude and deceitful, back to STS!!!
