About this business

This world-famous, rock-cut sculpture by Gutzon Borglum is one of the United States' best known landmarks. The 60-foot-tall (18-meter-tall) faces of four of America's greatest presidents - George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln - look down from their lofty perch above the luxuriant forests of the Black Hills. Remarkable in their likeness to the presidents, Mount Rushmore is as much a monumental artistic marvel as it is a cultural gem. These four presidents were chosen by the artist himsel... read more

Absolutely loved our stop here! Make sure it's not a misty/foggy day or the faces are hidden, we stuck around and they mist cleared but it would have been a shame to go all that way and not see them. Also be sure to stop & check our Crazy Horse Monument. Both very well worth the stop with amazing history!

We stopped to see the monument with our 3 kids. Not much else to do there but, see it. We spent maybe 25 minutes here. It's pretty cool and the parking is nice and close!

Great sight and worth the drive up from Denver. Saw the park in snow one day and blue sky the next day, both great sightings and plenty of great photo opps. Only downside was the line in the souvenir shop to pay (they were offline and poorly stocked as it was out of season).

I love Mount Rushmore!!!! I'm a local for the most part and I never get tired of visiting. They have a great "monumental breakfast" and the lighting ceremony is magestic!

Pretty cool. Make sure you plan your trip with other things to do. You can only look at a rock for so long. We made a 6 hour trip to and 6 hour trip from and only stayed their for only 20 minutes. The caves are cool and crazy horse is cool too. Can't wait to see crazy horse completed.
