It was magnifisant! Simply loved it, not only the actual monument but the views and location up to it! And its free you only pay for parking! A must see, it was a dream come true for me!
Well worth the visit and I would encourage those that desire to visit. Drive around the back side of the monument and you can get a side view of George. Plus the winding drive is nice.

Third visit but this time was by far the best. My wife got to share it with our 3 kids. The last time we visited the two oldest were too young to remember. This time they had a blast and promised to take their kids someday. Oh, visiting on a Monday with off and on snow showers is the BEST time to go. No crowds and everyone was nice. Good times 🤘🏼
Never been disappointed in a trip to Rushmore! Kids loved it, and the mountain goats were out and about, adding to the experience!
