About this business

This world-famous, rock-cut sculpture by Gutzon Borglum is one of the United States' best known landmarks. The 60-foot-tall (18-meter-tall) faces of four of America's greatest presidents - George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln - look down from their lofty perch above the luxuriant forests of the Black Hills. Remarkable in their likeness to the presidents, Mount Rushmore is as much a monumental artistic marvel as it is a cultural gem. These four presidents were chosen by the artist himsel... read more

Visiting Mount Rushmore is a moving experience, it's something I've wanted to do all my life!! The Rangers are extremely knowledgeable and helpful! We had an added bonus of seeing a band of mountain goats on the road by the turnout to see Washington's profile! You should go!!

My husband and i drove from billings, mt so he could see mt rushmore for the first time. We get there and they rudely take our money. No one mentioned that the fog would make seeing anything impossible. Waste of time and waste of energy walking in the rain. Greedy people.

Loved Mt Rushmore!! I definitely think a must visit. The only thing I did not like about the experience is all the commercialism surrounding it. The town of Keystone is just a souvenir town and the route leading to the park was littered with advertising. The actual monument was amazing and the area surrounding maintained well. There were places to eat and although we did not eat the menus were well marked with allergy info (we were looking for gf & there were plenty of options!)
