Every American should make a trip here at some point in their lives. However, make sure you go with tempered expectations. It’s not as big as many expect it to be and there isn’t a whole lot to do here after you look at the sculptures. That being said, it IS very cheap. And even though it’s not as huge as many expect it to be, it is still very monumental and an impressive sight to behold. I could barely see a thing and the road by Jefferson’s nose I barely saw too. The carving sure is intricate and beautiful. So much faith involved with the minds of our presidents it’s very aging in life giving grief. So much to admire to than to aspire to and be an equalitative position to them is understood as freedom. So much love in their faces. A true testament not only monument. Delicacy and treatment of people. The sciences. Medical fragility to care. The pen and paper.
