This IS the place to take your car. They are HONEST and very good at giving all the details in a way you can understand. They were also on time. They told me it would be ready by Thursday at the latest but would aim for Wednesday and it was! It was so nice calling them and having Jon anwser. He is a mechanic so is able to anwser questions instead of just making an appointment. If you are looking for a mechanic and reading reviews please know this is the place to take your car.

dumb me, I ran my wife's 2005 malibu low on oil. got a ticking sound in the engine soon afterward. Took the car to 3 different shops and they all said I needed a new engine. said it was probably a spun rod or something to that effect. would be cheaper to just replace the engine than to fix the tick. Got quotes from different shops in Sanford, Longwood, and Lake County. Motorworks had raving reviews all over the web. Their price for a new engine, labor, etc was $200.00 cheaper than anyone else. Took my 94 Mustang there yesterday due to general sickness and the staff went above and beyond to get my car back to peak performance! Thank you all for the work you did. My car is running better than it has in the last couple of years, staff was friendly and very helpful, prices were within my budget. I will be taking my car here in the future! Thanks guys!
