The ham is exactly what they say it is: the best on earth. Give me a black ham biscuit & some coffee and I know it’s going to be a great day!
A NOLA trip would be the same without a stop at Mother’s. Delicious as always! If you leave hungry, it’s your own damn fault!
The staff from the 2 managers???Sitting by the door to the wait staff rude as hell . Food was bland the ( were famous for baked ham was cold dry beans and rice tasteless reminded me of high school cafeteria except much dirtier. Sadly came highly recommended wouldn’t walk across the street if it were free 2 meals 40 dollars could had had gas station hot dogs and been better quality . Would NOT recommend this place to anyone

Worst service I’ve ever had from the second we ordered to walking out the door. Waitress never once can back to check on us. No refills. Red beans and rice were good.

AMAZING jambalaya! There is usually a long line, but then you get to look at the menu and know exactly what you want by the time it’s time to order. Line moves very fast and the food in completely worth it!
