I'm a Pittsburgh food lover and Mortons was the worst meal I've had in the Burgh ever! My husband and I went for Pittsburgh restaurant week. Waaaayyyy over priced and not worth it. I will never go back.
I expected expensive but I also expected a fabulous meal. Got the expensive part! Very dissapointed in the steak quality and flavor which was bland. Haven’t been to Morton’s for a while and will not be back...maybe ever.
Excellent service, beautiful romantic setting, and the food was phenomenal! We absolutely loved it. I do however feel the prices were too high. I'm ok with paying for quality but charging $13 per side in addition to a $50-$75 steak, that's a bit extreme.
My family and I went to Morton’s for my birthday dinner. I ordered a medium rare filet. When it arrived it was medium well. The waiter apologized and took it back. When it arrived, it was raw. My family had already finished eating. I was very disappointed. They took my meal off the check, but that didn’t make up for the fact that I didn’t get to eat dinner on my birthday.
