In Alabama it is legal to use low thc cbd oil. Besides chronic pain issues I am also epileptic. My seizures were never controlled with pharmaceutical meds, so when cbd oil became a legal option my neurologist suggest I try it. Since then I have not had any seizures. Dr. Scherlis did a urine screen which detected have to stop using it. I respectfully declined and they refused to treat me anymore. However i found that increasing my cbd dosages works better for pain that their pharmaceuticals.
You pay to see a specialist who you never see. Repeatedly told these nurse practitioners I only needed narcotic pain pills for when the OTC drugs didn't work, yet they continuously prescribed me 112 each script, then after a couple of times of not having them show up on drug screen they accused me of selling them and said i couldn't come back. I even offered to bring in all of the scripts i hadn't filled along with pharmacy records showing how rarely i filled them, but they still refused!
great doc, great bedside manner, made a huge difference in the quality of my life. goes to the source of my pain with injections.
Dr. Scherlis truly cares about his patients and has the most passionate bedside manner that I have ever experienced. He is the most experienced pain management doctor in AL/TN area.
