Moosewood Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Ithaca, N.Y. They have published cookbooks since the 60's-70's. I am trying to message them about a recipe I have misplaced. Go to Moosewood Restaurant! New specials everyday. Mostly vegetarian. Great food, nice and clean and very special.

I can't always get up to Ny , Thank God for your books. My Kids went crazy for your Golden Rice recipe. My wife told me I have to make it more often.
Great relaxing Sunday Brunch with friends. Great curry, wonderful Bloody Mary, and a fruit cobbler to top it off! 10/10 would go again.

Ok. I've had a moosewood cookbook for ages and always wanted to go to the restaurant. It was average and uninspired. For a vegetarian restaurant you'd expect better salads. You also wouldn't expect so much fish on the menu. We sent back 2 of 3 dishes not because they weren't exceptional, but because they were inedible..... cold, dried out and salty. The desserts are great.
