Lovely brunch. Service a bit casual but good. Glad we finally got to experience this terrific restaurant. Prices very good.

RecommendedGreat for vegans or vegetarians or anyone really! Very delicious food and friendly staff. Beautiful paintings on the wall and cozy, light atmosphere. Not expensive / fair priced. They mark what is vegan and what is gluten free! I also guess their food can be delivered to locals. (Was written on the sign on the door.) I am not a local though, but I will be going back for sure!
Well deserved reputation for putting fresh, vegetarian inspired cuisine on the American radar. I’ve been cooking out of their books since the mid-1980s and have eaten at the restaurant a few times over the past 30 odd years. I loved the spinach basil dressing over the house salad and the asparagus sauce pasta carbonara. Didn’t care for the vegan crust on the apple and cherry pie — stick with the classics, Moosewood, though I appreciate the effort to accommodate the dietary restrictions that plague many.
I've been going here regularly for the past ten years. Last night was the worst experience yet. Food was inedible. I had the sundried tomato Alfredo. It came cold and the pasta was soggy. I said I couldn't eat it. They replaced it with another five minutes later and, while now warm, the pasta was equally overcooked. They told me they would "comp" it, but I still couldn't eat it. I love The Moosewood! Some of my favorites are the citrus ginger tea - it’s amazing! The Grapefruit Basil Martini - ❤️ We recently had the Mexican Kettle Stew And the penne carbonara with asparagus both were very flavorful, the tofu wings and Savanna soup were excellent.
