This is the saddest review I have ever had to write. I have been a vegetarian for 30 years. I have probably cooked everything from The Moosewood cookbook. I’ve waited a looong time to eat at this restaurant and so maybe I built it up in my mind. I was horribly disappointed. First of all WHY are they serving fish?? Don’t get me going on that. The menu was horribly limited. Very few options. Vegetarian food has come a long way since they opened and they obviously aren’t keeping up. Nothing special.

Spent a nice day with my sister Dianne, we went to visit Dory and then had lunch at Moosewood. Delicious Mediterranean salad and for dessert we shared ginger cheesecake with mango guava sauce!

The cauliflower paprikash was delicious. The service was excellent. I would have liked a little background music to be playing. I was surprised that the to-go container was plastic. Please consider using compostable containers. I will return the next time I am in Ithaca.

We found your place while googling for a vegan restaurant. Now I've only been to a few but I'm noticing a pattern. Here is my observation from last night. Your establishment is tired and dated, it could use a good cleaning. Your staff although friendly and attentive were messy, disheveled, sloppy and forgetful you might want to invest in some pens and note pads!
