I don’t know what happened to Moosewood but it is not what it has been. It is now over-priced and heavily reliant on cheese which makes most of its menu not vegan. The one vegan salad has never changed on its menu. They should just forego calling themselves vegan vegetarian and sink their fortunes into cheese. Chess? Really? So sad.
RecommendedVisiting the area again after 30 years. Moosewood was even more amazing. Such a great restaurant!

We had been really looking forward to this stop since we were passing through Ithaca. While the food was really good, the portions were on the smaller side leaving most of us hungry. I’d be sure to order a few extra items to make sure that you are satisfied at the end. I think we may stop back on our way home.
Old school since 1973. This was our last night in Upstate NY and we had a nice dinner at this popular restaurant. The C19 pandemic is limiting the number of customers but they are allowing indoor dining.
Haven't been here for almost 20aksi get their cookbook. years. And as always the best food! Consistent and improving after all these years! And please treat yourself with the best chocolate cake on this planet! And
Wanted to eat here for a long time. Had the cookbook for many years. The experience did not disappoint, our service was excellent and the food was wonderful.
We tried quite an assortment off the menu and we loved everything. The dishes were so fresh and creative and wonderful! Wish I lived in Ithaca so I could eat here every day!
