I lived in a property owned by monument in MN. I had issues, called monument to report the landlord and left a message with the MN representative, Wendy Spaulding (I believe) and instead of returning my call she forwarded the message to my landlord who called me angry. Nobody from monument followed up with me, spoke to me, and though I have called others such as management and HR to report what happened, there is no answer. What did I specifically want to report? Worst property management - including illegal business practices. In only ONE of many examples, a property manager named Kriisten for monument changed the terms and amount of my rent after I signed my lease - of course Docusign is everything now days and you don’t sign on paper in front of a person. Negligent maintenance. BLACK MOLD. They allowed my neighbor to live in toxic, dangerous conditions. Refused to even pay for a hotel, replace his furniture. I would give no stars, but not an option. We have been w/out water for 24 hrs here in Hidden Creek apartments, Jeffersonville, IN. Management on sight NEVER answer, Monument, NEVER answer! This is BS! But they want a $1000 for rent? This place is a joke and Management is a joke. I will be calling the local news about this, since I can't get an answer!
This company is TRASH DO NOT RENT FROM ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES. I rent from a property of theirs in MN, nothing but problems since I signed my lease, it's all about your rent money they will not fix anything, and the leasing agents is clueless. Stay away.
