Worth the twenty minute wait for seating. Good food, good service and a fair price. Waiting to go there again for another choice on the menu (lots of choices).
Great place, but small. Avoid the heavy lunch rush 11:30 - 12:30. Try the pazole!
Get the meatloaf stack and the waitress with the edgy glasses.
We were in Madison for the day. Our first time there. Food was good and we had a sweet waitress.
Monty's has excellent food for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Be sure to have a slice of watermelon pie!

Best pancakes ever!!! Seemed to have a lot of veggie and vegan options for those who need those options. That also serve a DAMN FINE Bloody Mary!

I understand that it was busy during lunch on sunday, but the host should not tell people that they are getting a table ready for them then to proceed to give the table to others. Poor service, as someone who works in this industry I am very dissapointed in the lack of service.
