Monticello is beautiful in all seasons and there is always something new to learn.
A beautiful and magical place to visit. Had chills as I walked the grounds. Mr. Jefferson was my favorite president. Such a peaceful place. I can't wait to visit again!
We must keep our History alive! Great place for children as well as adults.
Wonderful! Loved it! Except all the dead flies in the dome room.
Sadly, Monticello needs some lessons regarding kids with disabilities. They wanted to charge full price for my nephew who is severely disabled (can't speak or communicate, in disabled wheelchair/stroller and can't understand tour) to just be pushed up the trail to the house. My sister explained that he wouldn't tolerate the house and they'd just walk the grounds, but the staff refused to allow her son access without paying full price. So she had to wait at the Visitor Center while the rest of her family went up to the house.... read more
Grew up in Charlottesville and have always loved Monticello. I have a picture of three generations of my family there !

Beautiful innovative home of one of my childhood heroes.
Wonderful place to visit. Great drive through the Virginia countryside. Tour guides were knowledgable and happy to answer our questions. Loved every minute!
