Great friendly staff. Very educational. Great historic relics
It’s beautiful tons of history! Wish I could’ve seen more of the house. The grounds are amazing. The garden spectacular as well as the views in every direction!
I prefer to not be treated like a criminal who has tested positive for COVID. I had a bag with wallet, lip gloss and eyeglass cloth. I would have been happy to be searched but I was told I had to take it back to my vehicle. Now the thieves know that all the visitors' belongings are in the vehicles and there is no security in the parking lot. A remarkable piece of history, newly reopened after Covid, and better than I remembered! Among the many talks being held on the property covering various topics, my favorite was the in-person conversation with Bill Barker, who plays Thomas Jefferson himself on the garden lawn. It was such a treat! He couldn’t have been more knowledgeable about Jefferson or the historic time in which he lived. For people who want to learn more about the amazing life of Thomas Jefferson, I cannot recommend Monticello enough!
Very spiritual experience for this TJ fan! Also very safe health precautions due to Covid are in effect.
I would not visit Monticello with COVID-19 as the staff rudely order people to wear masks even when they are outside and complying with Monticello's social distancing guidelines. Everything Thomas Jefferson stood for is gone. This is an affront to the legacy of Jefferson and the person who did this towards a guest should be ashamed.
We had a great experience and the staff was very helpful and informative while keeping everyone safe and in step with COVID restrictions without hampering the experience .
Beautiful house and grounds. Everyone was so helpful and answered all questions. There is so much to see there. I really enjoyed it.
Very nice and beautiful place... love the history
