RecommendedLearned a lot even with COVID restrictions and social distancing.
Really enjoyed our day! Loved the experience with Thomas Jefferson’s talk. Though it is unfortunate that COVID restricted the number of visitors and parts of the experience, it was nice that is wasn’t crowded.

Not all visitors are created equal... The staff at Monticello are amazing. On a recent trip to Jefferson’s Monticello in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, I was impressed at the efforts the staff went to make our group feel safe when managing social distance protocols during our generations pandemic. Wonderful site to see. However, we witnessed the botanical presenter for Jefferson‘s garden go total “Mask Nazi”on some dude that went out of his way to stay away from crowds. Totally skewed the Jefferson reenactment. I’m thinking an antithesis to Jeffersonian principals.
