RecommendedEarlier this month my family visited Thomas Jefferson‘s home at Monticello. We had a wonderful time. There was lots of stuff to see and the kids actually learned about our nations history. Such a great time and beautiful place. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Monticello. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The behind the scenes tour is totally worth it. Jim was an excellent tour guide. Meeting with Thomas Jefferson was also a great experience. Highly recommend everyone visit and learn about Thomas Jefferson and Monticello.
Great history lesson for your kids and adults too.
I enjoyed seeing the downstairs of the house. The cellar was interesting. I enjoyed the gardens very much as well.
TJ’s place is a must visit when in VA
