First time visiting Monticello. Beautiful house. Our tour guide Zella was fantastic. Answered all of the questions and made sure we didn’t miss anything. My family and I will definitely be returning.
We have been there three times and it is amazing to see how this American leader/hero lived. Everyone should see it. It is about one hour west of Richmond, Va. SBC Missionary Center is also west of Richmond and that it how we found Monticello.
Looks bed our tour guide on the enslaved tour. Tom Nash was our guide. He was incredible!
This is a Beautiful mountain and home! The tour was outstanding!
Beautiful home and grounds deep entrenched in American history. However, do note that the standard tour only includes the first floor of the home and many of the out buildings are either gone or newer replicas.
A very informative tour and definitely recommend the slavery tour down Mulberry Row
