fresh paint outside, grass cutters/"landscapers", that can't fix a sprinkler, and they tear up the grass!!, floors creak, Premium price for second rate, but Location, Location, Location.. oh, and alot of 1970's appliances, but, "we can charge a fare market value, due to the area and demand." In my world, "fare" is value for product, not so much here.
This apartment community is not worth nearly $1500.00 a month. The walls are thin, horrible parking and the amenities are sub par at best with a busted down weightlifting machine as a gym. Staff is lackluster, left multiple voicemails in regards to what I thought was a serious issue and just never got a phone call back. I went to the office on my day off to ask my question and the employee had no clue and asked if I would mind getting a call back with the answer. I figured it out on my own.
I love what i do for MonteVista, as far as maintenance and keeping the property looking good. And the residents are great.
Parking sucks. You only get one covered spot per apartment which is normal, but then there aren't any open spaces near my apt if i get home past 3pm. Plenty of vacant covered spots but you'll get towed if you park there. So I have to park the equivalent of two blocks away. Might not seem like much to some but it is when it's your home. Secondly, the showers are really poorly built. It's a tub shower and when you step in it it creaks and cracks like your foot is going to break through. I love MonteVista!!! Not only have I managed this property for 3+years, but I have also met some amazing people whom I am blessed to know. I am proud of our little community, our staff and residents!!
