My child only stayed two days so my review will mostly focus on the sketchy intake process and lack of professional communication. My complaint here is mostly with the intake process. I was told the program was 6 days, but attendance was only required for 5 days -- allowing the child to have some schedule flexibility. This was important because my child had other activities and obligations that we felt were important to continue attending. I was assured that the program was flexible for this very reason. Monte Nido saved me. I was really apprehensive going into residential but this was such a blessing and the best place I could have gone. It feels like a home rather than a medical facility which makes a huge difference. My therapist, Dr. Skyler Mitchell, was literally the best. Amazing staff and facility! Provided a holistic approach in the care of my daughter who unfortunately has struggled immensely with her ED. Offered endless support, encouragement and guidance while maintaining firm boundaries and expectations. I am beyond grateful to see my daughter in a much better place both physically and mentally. Thank-you!

I have never been held to higher standards while in treatment, while at the same time felt very cared for. Many of the staff here are recovered and open about their recovery. Many places don’t allow staff to disclose this information but for me it was one of the most influential parts of my treatment. They even did a Q&A with recovered staff, and I felt mor... read more
