I have a NRA 2016 gun of the year. It is a special NRA edition Montana Rifle 300 Win Mag. It is a beautiful firearm, but over and above the good looks this rifle is a shooter. Shooting Federal Premium Match 190 grain ammunition this rifle holds 2 to 3 inch three shot groups at 500 yards.
I can't rate my gun because after 6 months I still don't have it. customer service has been the worst. Will not ever do business with thi place again .
Ordered X2 left handed long action in January for brown bear hunt in Kodiak, Ak. in May, it didn't show. Had to use my Abolt. It did the job, 10' 4" 28 11/16 skull.
I'm still in the break in on my new extreme x2 26 nosler. It shot sub moa right out of the box. I am very pleased with the fit and finish of the rifle. The action is extremely smooth it's the nicest rifle I have ever purchased. Great job Montana rifle company I will be purchasing again in the future.
Great rifles! 3 hunters on one hunt with Xtreme Xpeditions Alaska this August. Brian Lee Mehman took his ram at 505 yards. He shot a couple one hole groups with his Montana before he nailed his ram. Walking fast to boot! Having hunted with the owners -Great people, great rifles!
I have a left handed ASR in the classic and wonderful 257 Roberts. It's a wonderfully built and accurate rifle; I killed a wild boar with it at our farm last year. You can tell by the quality that this rifle was built by gun people who care about what they make and what they represent.
