Customer service was terrible and rifle would not shoot worst gun I have ever owned
I have the AVR in 35 Whelen, I love it! It has a 1 in 12 barrel twist, witch is the way the 35 Whelen was meant to be made. This allows it to shoot up to a 310gr. bullet. This makes it an effective dangerous game cartridge. My not be the best for the biggest of African but with the right bullet and a good shooter it can do the job very well. It is more the enough for all North American game. The AVR is a very good rifle and I could not find another rifle built like it is any where near the price the Montana Rifle Company off... read more
