Open to the public since 2004, Montana Grizzly Encounter invites you to watch, learn and interact with the grizzlies in a safe environment. Watch as Brutus, Sheena and Bella, the resident bears, bask in the early morning sun, and later visit the gift shop to buy a few souvenirs to remember these grizzlies by.

RecommendedOn our way home from Glacier, we had to stop and see Brutus!! And we got lucky, he was out in the water playing with a stick and a box!! Employee was in yard telling us about the 5 bears there and about being safe in bear country. So glad we stopped!! Will definitely be back!!!

Had an amazing experience
If you are able to spend enough time and see all the bears, you see their contrasting personalities. Even seeing just one or two is great, though. Also, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and can tell you everything you would ever want to know about bears, bear behavior and bear safety.
I love this place! My sister won a meet and greet with Brutus the bear and Casey Anderson and she took me with her! Truly a once in a lifetime experience. The staff here are fantastic, helpful, full of great information and a lot if fun. Meeting Casey Anderson was great we have watched him on TV for a long time🐻❤
Very informative. learned quite a bit. very sad stories on the two bears in a 4'x6' cage together all that time. we only got to see Bella (Got lots of GREAT photos) and a few of Brutus . Highly recommend going here
You pay $8/person to park and walk to look at a bear then leave. Not much to it for the money!!!
Very interesting-& amazing to see these rescue bears up close.
Great time and wonderful staff. Great job of educating the public on bear safety.
