My son was rushed here right after his birth and diagnosed with a heart defect he had surgery here at 2 years old and has been making amazing progress thanks to the drs and nurses thank you Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital
This place is amazing for kids and families. We were here for 5 days and the staff, nurse's and doc's on the 8th floor were great. Made our stay there so much easier. I loved how they brought goodies, you could rent movies and borrow games was even better.
My son spent 5 weeks in the NICU, and he received the best care. The doctors, nurses, therapists, and the rest of the staff were nothing less than amazing. I could never begin to tell or give them enough thanks and gratitude.
Was son was taken there in 2013 the day he was born with an omphalacele which is his intestines that were in his umbilical cord that had to be fixed by surgery. I can't say enough good things about our stay there and how great we were treated.
Waited for almost 7 hours just for my kid to get a dental surgery and the front desk lady was rude. Not coming back for sure. Arrived there @8:30 am didn't leave until 4pm. And She's only 4 she had nothing to eat all day the employees didn't care about us. Nobody was there to check on us either.
This is by far the best hospital I've ever been to they repaired my sons heart and never left me in the dark . I'm only 21 years old and he had open heart at only 2 weeks old and I really thought I was going to loose my son but they saved him . I felt hopeless until they showed me wrong!:) god bless everyone of alls staff!:)
Finally made it through triage with my child and have been sitting in the ER room for 40 minutes and have yet to see a doctor!

Blessed to have such a wonderful hospital and staff taking care of our son!!!! Words can not express our gratitude.
