I was charged $102 for a gel manicure and pedicure, and unfortunately, this was one of the worst nail salon experiences I’ve had. During my pedicure, my foot was scrubbed so aggressively that my skin was left raw and sensitive afterward. My cuticles also bled during the service, which was very uncomfortable. I have no problem to pay for a good service. But when the owner takes advantage of you, one has to ask if its worth it. About 3 weeks ago I got a regular pedicure and a gel nails and was charged $82, which is ok. Yesterday for the same work I was charged $98! WTH? Not going back, because next time it would cost me double since looks like they just come up with random numbers

I’ve visited twice now and was upcharged both times without clear explanation or agreement beforehand. The first time I was charged $60 for a regular gel manicure, which is $20 more than the listed price, supposedly because of “long nails” and “special polish”—neither of which applied. Yesterday, I was charged $40 for a regular pedicure, which also feels excessive. I’d really appreciate transparency with pricing upfront. I don’t mind paying for services, but I expect to be charged fairly and consistently.
