Mon Ami Historic Winery is termed as one of the largest winery and boasts of a capacity of 130,000 gallons and a production of 300,000 to 500,000 bottles of still wines, champagne and burgundy each year.

Would've loved to try the food but it was so hot in there that we opted against ordering an entree. They opted on a day that was in the 90s to not run the air conditioning. It was so hot that the guy bringing the food to your table looked like he just stepped out of the gym.. very unappetizing wondering if he was dripping on the food. Waitress was great but when I asked to speak to someone higher up I was informed they left for the day, probably to get into air conditioning..
Had a horrible experience. Was there to celebrate my 60th birthday, our waitress, Stephani, was rude, would not refill our mimosas without an attitude and asked several times if and when we would be done. Felt like she was pushing us out. It was not like she had to take our order and serve us, it was the Sunday Brunch Buffet. All she needed to do was refill our beverages even asking for water was a challenge. Will be a long time if ever that I will be going back. Just to mention last year had NOT one issue.
Went to watch Rumors yesterday, and was BLOWN away by how good the band was, and how poorly management planned for the event! Waited over half an hour IN LINE, just to get drinks. Was a 3 hr wait for a table even though several were empty. Felt so bad for the solo bartender. Should of had 3-4 working, with as many waitresses/waiters working the lawn. At Mon Ami watching Rumors. Very good band, drinks are good. Food and service are horrific! Asked the hostess how long it would be to be seated, 2 hours when there were empty tables. The hostess was very rude when she responded. Ordered drinks and food at the bar instead, asked the bar tender about how long for the food and response was not sure when or if you will get it due to being so under staffed. Prime rib was tough and fatty! Sent it back and they said it was the last tow pieces! Never should have been sent to the table!
I hated the new changes this year! And I’ve never seen the place so empty Before! That should tell y’all something!
What's not to like! Southern gal! Food amazing. Wine delicious. Atmosphere amazing!
We have been there a couple times a year for the last few years. And it was always great. But this year not happy with the changes. The gift shop the wine tasting the buffet all switched around. TERRIBLE. If its not broken don't fix it... We were there 7/1/18 definitely a shortage on servers and bartenders. Our server was great but over worked and food was good. And we enjoyed the band. Not saying we wont go back just saying seems like everyone liked it better before.
I am going there tonight. I will tell you what I think and how it compares to my expectations. :)
