What a disappointment! We have been going to the seafood buffet for years to celebrate our anniversary. This year the price was $60 which I think is out of line but was willing to pay because they said it was the same Buffett as in the past. This was not true. In the past they had perch or walleye for fresh catch. This year it was fried breaded shrimp. Really? Fresh catch? No seafood salad, prime rib was over done and dry. We were here 6 months ago and it was great. Raised the price of the buffet (and it had less on it now than it did 6 months ago), terrible service, waited over an hour and saw SEVERAL empty tables available. Noticed the “emptiness” in the waiting area (which is incredibly unusual in the summer on a Saturday night at 5:30)...now we know why. It’ll be a long time til we visit again (if ever).
I ate it all! No doggie bag! Yum
Still one of our go-tos for date night, but seems like they need to hire some help. Lots of open tables on a Saturday night during peak season but still an hour wait for only two people.
