Quick efficient and no waiting
First let me say that I think Dr Labbaf is wonderful but the staff particularly the person that sends prior approvals has not one clue of what they are doing! The office manager doesn’t pickup the phone and now works from home??? I spoke with her once and my medication was finally approved but only for a month and he told me to come back in two! I never saw Dr. Labbaf because the person who scheduled my appointment apparently didn't enter it into the system. I had originally selected an appointment online for the next day, it said it was tentative, and I received a call saying it was left open by mistake. I then scheduled an appointment a month in advance by phone with a receptionist. I called the day before with a question and left a voicemail but never heard back. Out of the 4 Northern Va neurologists I have been treated by, Dr. Labaaf is BY Far the best. He has 6 times been recognized as one of the top Washington area neurologists inclding for 3 consequetive years 2019-2021. The office staff is always courteous and professional. Dr. Labbaf takes time to listen to my problems and always asks if I have any questions or concerns about his prognosis or my medications.
I have been a patient of Dr. Labaff for many years, after I left another neurologist. Dr. Labaff is a fine, caring doctor. He tells me about the latest help for my migraines and finds ways to help me afford the new medications. He is great at giving painless injections. His Asst., Sheri, goes to bat for me to make sure my insurance company knows what they need to know so that my prescriptions can be approved.
