Brought my cat Sherman in for a scheduled appointment on July 28th and it turned into a nightmare. As instructed, I withheld all food and water from him beforehand and dropped him off right at 10:00 a.m. When I came back at 4:30 p.m.—six and a half hours later—I was told the exam never happened because the clinic was "too busy." My cat sat alone in a cage for over six hours with no food, water, or medical attention, going through completely unnecessary physical distress and anxiety. The vet was close to 2 hours late to my appointment time. He did not offer a single apology or explanation. The vet was extremely unprofessional, mumbled everything, asked repeated questions. I regretted going here and cancelled my appointment with another vet clinic for tomorrow, such a waste of time. The “treatment room” is filthy, marks can be seen all over the wall. Where do I start? All I can say is, I've known dr Cortes for many years and he has always taken care of my cats. I had one who suffered from asthma. Dr Cortes saved his life! He's very compassionate and knowledgeable about anything he does. It's good to read reviews before trusting your pet to a veterinary doctor. Believe me!! If he weren't good, I wouldn't be bringing my pet companions to him! I will be bringing my Therapy cat Iris and Yoko to him this week.
Took my feral cat in after he suddenly lost his appetite and Dr. Cortes was great. He did a thorough exam, quickly figured out the issue, and was very caring and knowledgeable. After the antibiotics, the iv fluids and B12 shot, my cat started eating again as soon as we got home. Highly recommend Dr. Cortes if you need an emergency vet visit
My cat needed help due to his UTI issues. He was very anxious and hard to get him to see our veterinarian. I called this place, and it saved my cat's life. Found out later my cat had stones. The house call was very responsive with follow-up. This was very nice. The price was high, but it was to be expected.
