Have had an HOA for the majority of my adult life and never ever have I been charged the full annual assessment up front until we bought a new home that fell under MJS property management. Not to mention the budget assessment is completely egregious. This place should be investigated - there is no doubt in my mind that they inflate expected costs and then collect the full 12 months of monthly HOA dues in January so that they can earn interest on our money throughout the year. Unless you want all of your dues to go to them for nothing in return, don't let them manage your community! They double charge for administrative actions (administrative fee plus a fee for every violation,etc.). They suck at helping communities with budgets. If it weren't for my fellow board members,vwe wouldn't have a straight budget. Do yourself a favor and get away from them!

Horrible!!!!! You call to work out a payment plan or just have general questions about fees. No one calls back!! And they send you straight to voicemail!! They don’t issue any violations and the community looks trashy!! What are we really paying for?? This company is a money pinching, rude and corrupt organization. Please stay away!!!

Really didn't want give 1 star, these people are the fucking worst spoken with Justin in compliance department rude and th worst hang the phone up in my face twice, wanted to speak with his boss getting the run around from her all od sudden she in a meeting.

Absolutely terrible! We are building in a new development managed by MJS. They continually mail important documents to our address that does not currently have a mailbox because it is a large community mailbox that has not been installed on the street yet. As the property management company, they should be aware that there are no mailboxes associated with these addresses. horrible and unprofessional - this company treats their communities as a cash grab. They do not return calls, follow ups on violations and do not follow the law with holding meetings or telling us how they are spending our dues. This company DID NOT PAY DUKE ENERGY FOR 4 MONTHS AND BACKLOGGED US FOR $6800 AS DUKE TURNED OFF OUR STREET LIGHTING LEAVING US IN THE DARK WITH ELDERLY AND SPECIAL NEEDS HOME OWNERS. This company is garbage and a scam.

Never live in a neighborhood that uses this company. They are very inconsistent and bias with their violations. They are also very rude to you anytime you call them or email them. They refused to tell me who my board members were in one email I sent. Avoid the neighborhood in harbison behind New Heights Church call Hampton of Harbison. They are controlled by MJS. The HOA board members that MJS props up are very creepy and invasive. They have been seen trespassing on people's property to take pictures of very minor petty viol... read more
