Heard this is a facility that spreads hate and racism. No thank you. No support from me.
Staff and members participate in or turn a blind eye to racism and hate. I’m sure it’s a lovely experience if your white.
A friend whose family has been regularly discriminated against because of her race; whose children have been cruelty spoken to and about. When I initially queried the club regarding these things I was insulted and put off and lied to. If you want to see them in action go there with a black friend who is thick skinned ... check out for yourself.
Love all of the staff! They honestly become family! Love spending our days off here!
I have been a member at Mixson for over 2 years and absolutely LOVE coming here! Such a wonderful place for the kids to swim and play outside with so many fun kids activities often planned for them! Not to mention the lifelong friends I’ve made since becoming a member! They love to have events for adults also like oyster roasts and awesome bands and DJs playing! So much fun!!! They are unwilling to be responsible fro the racist actions of their employees. Stop fighting and give your employees The necessary training to grow into decent people. Trena Walker goes to the same church I do. She is an excellent Person and mother and and champion of her kids. Mixon Club, do the right thing.
Tom needs to be dealt with accordingly! Learn how to train your staff!
There should be no racism, and there should be an apology, to the whole community, for any racist remarks, and an assurance that staff training for all staff on equality and diversity will be undertaken.
