I can't recommend this dentist enough. They were so patient and kind with my 6-year-old, who is autistic. They took the time to make him feel comfortable and never rushed him, which meant so much to us. What is usually a stressful experience turned into a really positive one. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and understand that every child is different. We're so thankful for the amazing care they gave our son. I highly recommend them, especially to other parents of children with special needs.
Although we have moved 150 miles away, we decided to get back in touch with Mitten Kids, as we had had such a positive experience with them in the past, and our local options- although plentiful- were not succeeding in building rapport with our special needs son. Not only were they glad to welcome us back, they were able to get us in to see our dentist of choice (Dr Brett) much sooner than offices near us. We had a great experience with Mitten Kids Dentistry. Everyone was very kind, caring, and professional. They made Elina feel comfortable and took great care of her during her dental procedure under anesthesia. We are so thankful for the doctors and staff for making this experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. We highly recommend Mitten Kids Dentistry!
My son was excused from three other dentists because he struggled to sit still and knocked things over. We went to mitten kids on a recommendation of a friend. It has been a game changer, we have been going here I think 5 or 6 yrs at both locations and my son is at ease with no issue, even goes back by himself sometimes. My daughter who has sensory issues can also go back with her brother and it is a positive experience most of the time. Highly recommend.
