I went in to get my hair highlighted at the Kenwood location by a "salon director" and paid $140. My highlights turned out chunky and spotted throughout my hair. The stylist didn't even touch the back of my head and most of my highlights were uneven and miscolored. So I had to go in the next day to have someone else fix it, and they Ctually made it worse. Avoid the Maternity Massage – Not a fan of Mitchell's maternity massage. Who decided it was a good idea to put a pregnant woman on here back for a half hour? I was feeling shortness of breath, dizziness and I could feel my pulse it my abdomen from all the pressure. A folded-up towel was placed beneath one hip so I was lop-sided. When I said I was uncomfortable the masseuse just stopped because she didn't know what else to do. Awful.

AVOID! – I love to get my nails done and have for years! I mainly use Sableux Salon and Spa but was sad when my nail tech left, so I tried Mitchells. Well lets just say I will NEVER be back! Two of my friends and I went into the salon in Kenwood for pedicures. One out of the three of us had an overall good experience. My one friend had it the worst, her two big toes were so sore and sinsitive after her pedicure that she had to be careful what shoes to wear. The Best of the Best – You feel like a pampered queen when you go to Mitchell's! It's the best getaway in the city to remove yourself from it all!
Customer Service is fantastic – I had been going to Mitchells for a few years, I had my daughters makeup hair and nails done for her 15 (Quince), they did a really great job, but I don't go anymore due to the fact that I have had some good cuts some not so good, and the same with color sometimes it's really good work and sometimes the color doesnt even match the previous color. For the price it should be more consistant. I can go elsewhere and pay the same or lower prices for the same quality service with better quality cut ... read more
Customer Service variable, quality varies greatly and way too expensive for what you actually receive – A spa should be more than a pretty place to visit. It should provide superior quality services at a price consistent with the quality provided. Mitchell's just is NOT all that it claims to be. The most wonderful Salon anywhere! – I have been a client of Mitchell's Salon and Day Spa Kenwood for 10 years. I moved here from Dallas, and was very concerned about finding a place that would measure up to the quality of the salon I was used to in Dallas. I had nothing to worry about! All of the products they use are of the highest quality, and produce the best results. I especially love the nail and esthiology services.
