World Class Wedding Site 5 stars all the way! My sister recently was married here. It was beautiful. The staff was amazing. She had over 200 guests and I was worried about the weather, but The Mitchell House has a beautiful covered pavillion in the garden and a covered collonade to the back patio and we didn't have to worry about the rain at all. Always Exceeds Our Expectations I have now attended a number of events at The Mitchell House and Gardens, including the weddings and receptions of friends and co-workers; a birthday celebration for my aunt; and a fashion show. Just last year, I helped plan a bridal brunch for my niece. I love coming to events at The Mitchell House and can't wait to go there again!
Great Customer Service & Best Wedding Ever What a fabulous staff! The Mitchell House & Garden is beautiful and moderately priced. My husband and I were married here three weeks ago. The place was beautiful. The flowers and cake exceeded my expectations. The Perfect Day The Mitchell House and Gardens in Lexington, SC was the perfect venue for my October reception. I looked a several other reception sites in Lexington, but non of them had the close personal connection that I felt at Mitchell House. Planning my recepetion was a breeze. Great place for any event My wife's family is addicted to this place. They can't get enough. So far they have had 3 weddings, 3 birthday parties, 2 baptisms, 3 birthday parties, a baby shower, and 2 Christmas parties here. FABULOUS SOUTHERN CHARM Beautiful gardens!! The front porch is nice, but when you drive by it looks plain. You HAVE to go inside and tour the house and gardens. If you don't tour it you are missing out! I loved all the little lights they put on throughout the gardens in the evening. There are many packages to choose from but I chose to plan my event custom. Bridal Shower What an outstanding facility! I can??t say enough about it. I attended my cousin's bridal shower. The dcor was polished, flowers and food you would not believe. The staff made sure the food was always refilled and was there for anything my cousin requested. I just can??t say enough about the decoration and the attention that was paid to us. I loved the party and would recommend this facility to anyone for any type of event.
