Director Karen Petit is organized and classy; and Patsy, the in-house Cake Goddess, can be counted on to create a confection you won't forget. We loved her coconut and almond cakes!
Bridal Shower What an outstanding facility! I canât say enough about it. I attended my cousin's bridal shower. The décor was polished, flowers and food you would not believe. The staff made sure the food was always refilled and was there for anything my cousin requested. I just canât say enough about the decoration and the attention that was paid to us. I loved the party and would recommend this facility to anyone for any type of event.
awesome place my best bud just got hitched here it was a blast bit fancy 4 my tastes, but great food and real pretty 2 the director was 2 funny...made the rehersal fun danny said the price was right and it made jenny happy to have the wedding there i dont know nothing about flowers but they were everywhere hope my boss will let us have our x-mas party there 2
FABULOUS SOUTHERN CHARM Beautiful gardens!! The front porch is nice, but when you drive by it looks plain. You HAVE to go inside and tour the house and gardens. If you don't tour it you are missing out! I loved all the little lights they put on throughout the gardens in the evening. There are many packages to choose from but I chose to plan my event custom. Wedding of my dreams I loved that everything could be included and I didn't have to worry about anything. I liked the fact that the wedding director and owner took the time to listen to me and the things I wanted during my planning sessions. I didn't feel at all rushed during my wedding and my bridal party didn't have any complaints as to how they weer treated - in fact, I felt that the wedding director was very diplomatic in handling my family - they can be a handful without proper supervision! Best Kept Secret In South Carolina I recently attended a wedding rehearsal dinner and wedding at The Mitchell House and Gardens, and all I have to say is "wow." I've lived in the Midlands for years, but I've never been to an event there. The dinner could not be duplicated in any restaurant. rude to us i was a bridesmaid in a good friend's wedding recently and yes, the food was good and the decor was nice, but my friend was treated like a child and we all felt as if the director was as rude as possible to us. i can understand not wanting the bridal party to go over the time booked for the day, but there is NO reason to rush people and be pushy. the night of the rehearsal it started and i brushed it off thinking that they just wanted to be sure we all made my friend's day as easy as possible, but from the MINUTE ... read more
