Devine Evening I want to do it all again! I wouldn't change a thing! My fondant cake was exquisite...almost too beautiful to cut into, but so delicious once we did! They covered every detail and I wasn't nearly as nervous as I anticipated. I was actually relaxed knowing The Mitchell House was taking care of everything! Happy Birthday To Me My children had my 65th birthday party at the Mitchell House and it was the best party I've ever had. Candles and flowers were everywhere including a beautiful 65 red rose bouquet on the main buffet. All of the food was great and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. Best Kept Secret In South Carolina I recently attended a wedding rehearsal dinner and wedding at The Mitchell House and Gardens, and all I have to say is "wow." I've lived in the Midlands for years, but I've never been to an event there. The dinner could not be duplicated in any restaurant. Just A Hot Mess I Recently just got married at the Mitchell House and Gardens. I paid over $1100 and felt like I didn't get my money's worth. First off the director and all the staff were very rude to all of my guest. They were unprofessional and unprepared. I had three consultations with Mitchell House and still on the day of my wedding I didn't receive anything we talked about. a job well done!!! I had a great experience while attending a friends wedding last month!.I think the staff had done a superb job in the preparations of the dinner and the quality was excellent!
