Oldest nursery in San Diego! This smallish nursery is the oldest nursery in San Diego. It is a family run operation and offers wonderful herb selections, interesting specimen plants and Jo does a great job bringing in unique bedding plant material. It is set adjacent to a canyon, so there are various levels--it is a wonderful place just to walk through, take in the scents and sounds--see a hummingbird or two.
Nice garden supplies and plants in Mission Hills Mission Hills Nursery is a very cute nursery with lots of healthy plants to choose from. The staff are pretty nice and helpful and they have a plasma screen TV by the cash register.
Quaint Local Business This is a very quaint nursery nestled in the middle of Mission Hills. They have some of the most beautiful plants and flowers and the staff is courteous and knowledgeable for anything you need!

Nice selection of plants. Picked up 2 podocarpus trees a few weeks ago. They are going great. Like the livestock too. Free range chickens.
