I fell and hurt my elbow. I went to mission er. They told me it was a sprain and will be better in a week. The pain was so bad I saw my family doctor. I had 3 fractures and major bone displacement. Since I thought it was nothing major like mission said and did not get immediate treatment I may not heal.
On January 19th I had a Hysterectomy. Dr. Case and her team were great. I ended up staying a few days longer than planned and the staff in the Women's Surgery Recovery Unit took excellent care of me.
This is at their radiation oncology department in the Cancer Center. Everyone is wonderful. So compassionate, kind and informative.
They took very good care of my mother. Staff was very friendly, informative, and tests were done promptly, while trying to help her with the care that she needed. She had to be admitted and I felt very comfortable with leaving her in the care of such professionals.
I had a c section on the 11th. I have not encounter one unfriendly person from my anesthesia team to the housekeeping lady. We have received excellent care during our stay. My son had to spend a little time in the NICU and everyone made sure my husband and I were well informed. Everyone has always been patient with any questions I have as well.
We have been here in the Peds wing since Thursday. All the staff were responsive and wonderful. We had a particular nurse who went above and beyond. She displayed professionalism but really cared for her patients. Our Hunter fell in love with "His Nurse Virginia". Her care for him was exceptional. Thank you! Other staff and doctors were fantastic and aided in his recovery.
