Sub par/good products – I just stopped in East Town Spa for the first time the other day. I read the reviews on this page because they came up when I Googled "salons in Milwaukee area" Even after reading I still decided to go. AS a Chicago native, I was really shocked! Absolutely Appaling Customer service – Oh My God! If you want to avoid a fiasco--stay away from East Town! Service there is absolutely APPALLING! I had a a facial there, and it was anything but relaxing. Though, I must say the facial itself felt good--I couldn't even come close to getting into it. The two brats in the basement salon next to the massage room--insisted in playing with each others hair all afternoon. The two girls' invasive voices ruined my facial. Customer Service is Atrocious – My friend gave me a coupon for my birthday, which I'd been waiting to use. A an attorney and a mother of 3, it's not often that I get a break to actually go do something like this. Unfortunately, however, my experience at East Town Spa was hardly a nice/relaxing experience. Glad I waisted my whole afternoon at East Town – I agree with the previous posts. I was just in East Town Spa a few weeks ago and had to wait nearly 30 minutes before I received service. The thing is, I called and made an appointment almost a week and a half in advance! I booked the appointment for a longer lunch hour that day. A long lunch was an understatement! Rethinking Over generous reviews – If you're looking for a spa/hair salon in downtown Milwaukee--DON"T GO HERE. Customer Service is Horrible. The employees working there are pretentious and, quite frankly--snotty. Other things to note: If you happen to get a a stylist you like, be aware. Nothing but kindness – I purchased a new client package over a year ago and I was so impressed that I am now a DEVOTED client! The staff is friendly, prompt and extremly accomidating. I am ALWAYS welcomed with a smile, something to drink and a relaxed atmosphere, not to mention great hair! I have recommended this spa to numerous friends and co-workers and everyone has RAVED! I hope that the FEW bad comments on here don't deter anyone away from such a great place!
Great experience – I have been going to East Town Spa for over a year and have never had a bad experience. I feel welcomed by all of the staff there and would recommend it to anyone. It can be intimidating being an average joe kind of guy going to a girly salon, but it is great. I can usually call for an appointment and be seen that day, or within one day of the call. I give them an A++.
Great Experiences – I have been going to this salon for over a year. I cannot believe the harsh comments that I read on this review site. I have seen a few different people at this salon and have also had a number of different services done. And on no occasion have I had a bad experience. However, it was anything but bad! Avoid this salon! – I would not recommend this spa to anyone!!! Not at any of the five visits did I feel relaxed, pampered, or welcome. The owner of the salon was working the reception desk and was anything but professional. I saw her take clients in front of other clients. She was rude to clients in front of me and also had the nerve to talk to me about them after they left when she didn?t know me from anyone else.
