Great Shellac Manicure – I LOVE Shellac manicures and was having trouble finding a spa in my neighborhood (downtown/lower east side) that offered them. I had procrastinated, as usual, to get one done for my engagement photos. I needed one asap! Couples Massage – My husband and I had our first daughter this past Jan. Finally Found a New "Home"- Amazing Talent & People! – After 5 years @ my former 3rd Ward salon, I needed a real change! Peace & relaxation – The first time i came here for a service, my sister treated me for a much needed massage and break from reality. That's exactly what i received. The inside of the building is just as unique as the historic pink walls. The inside was dimly lit, i was offered tea and water, and escorted to a comfy couch while i waited. Uneducated, rude owner is to blame – The owner is a belligerent leech of society, who was probably given the salon for free - which would most likely explain her total disregard for customer service and inability to hire professional and talented staff. My First Visit to East Town Spa – My first visit to East Town Spa was excellent. I called to make an appointment and was able to get in the same day at the time I wanted. The spa has lots of character which makes it very unique and different from your typical spa. I was given a personal tour and was very impressed. I liked all the extra things (jewelry) as well as all the products that were for sale and displayed very nicely. I will be a repeat customer for sure!
Favorite Spa in Milwaukee! – I have been going to East Town Spa for a few years now and I just love it! They are always able to fit me in easily (a lot of times on the same day!) I usually go in with an idea that I want, and the stylist helps to find something that would work with my hair type. Absolutely Love It! – I've been going to East Town Spa for at least 10 years now and I've always had a positive experience! The owner is very accommodating and all of the employees are friendly. Services that I have received in the past are haircuts, color, brow waxing, manicures, pedicures and massages and they were all a wonderful experience. I absolutely love their hair products as well. Not Returning – I think the outside is cute because it's pink, but it sort of looks like a crack house. And the inside is just as terrible. My friend, my sister, and I also did one of the packages. For my friends massage they took her down into a dongen. The paraffin dip was far from good, I left with wax all over my fingers. They cut my hair above my shoulders when I asked for it to be kept below my shoulders, she said it was because she thought I'd look good with short hair.
