NP Amy Lemay- Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a healthcare "professional", or anyone for that matter.....a server, cashier, bank teller, nurse, doctor, ANYONE! I scheduled an appointment for 6:20pm, the only time available I might add. I arrived at and checked in and received my check-in email at 6:17. I watched as the others were processed. I noticed that the person checking people in started cleaning everything off and emptying trash but I still hadn't been checked in. They took the only other person sitting there back and a bit later, at 6:58, the person checking people in came out and asked what I was waiting on. Amy, the nurse practitioner who evaluated me was the most abrasive, demeaning, rude healthcare professional I have ever come into contact with. As a RN myself, I understand the stressors of working in healthcare. I always give others the benefit of the doubt. But this woman had awful bedside manner. It seems to me as though she is a mean person, not just having a bad day. Everything else about the minute clinic is great, but she is enough of a reason to never return.
