The Mining Camp has good food and a fun, pleasant atmosphere which is decorated in an old western mining town atmosphere. Diners eat off of tin plates, cups and glasses like the old time miners did. Our server was a pleasant and efficient young lady who did a great job. They have a small gift shop with some interesting things for sale. We first visited this restaurant in 1989 and still enjoy it today.

We ate in the older camp style restaurant. Lots of food for $20. I can't imagine anyone going back for seconds. A great way to experience old fashioned boarding house food.

Pam and I had the best time. Sat at the bar to eat. We didn't have reservations. The Prickly Pear Margarita was great! The food was great! We had the Rib Eye!

Great service and family style BBQ. I had grilled salmon and it was delicious. It's an awesome place to take visitors to because of the old West atmosphere and gift shop. Have to get some delicious prickly pear jelly. If you like cocktails try the prickly pear martini.
