We had the absolute worst experience ever this evening! I really don't know where to begin 1. We had a 7pm reservation for my daughters birthday on a slow Monday evening (less than 14 people in the entire place) 2. We sat at our table for 2 hours and 15 minutes before they started cooking our food. Yes, we sat there for 2 hours and 15 minutes.. 3. They totally ignored us. This breaks my heart b/c I have LOVED Mimi's for 10+ years but as I sit at my dirty table with no plates, having begged for napkins, received the appetizer after our rolls (which were wrong and poorly done) I have to think there is NO WAY that Mimi is still the owner. She would have fired the girl "serving" us on the spot. Tonight was a disgrace to all of her hard work. It will take a lot of persuading by my family to get me to return.
Absolutely horrible service!!! Been waiting 45 minutes and still no cook. Will not be back!
Use to love to go to Mimi's but the service has gone down hill the last three times we have been there. Atmosphere not the same.
Went to Mimis all the time for years. Up until our last three visits, it had been great. It has been going downhill the past year and they don't seem to care. Lost all their good chefs and best employees. Steaks became tiny and tough, atmosphere was loud and chaotic, food was inconsistent and service was bad. Went to Kanpai last night and was excited to have a wonderful meal with friendly, competent, welcoming staff. Really glaring to compare the two.
Terrible. Got their at 5:42. No one in the entire resturant. They opened at 430. He said we were the first customer of the day. We set their 10 min. Not anyone came to wait on us. 4 people saw us including the guy who sat us. We got up and walked out. Never will be back
The food service and atmosphere was excellent. Had a party of 20, had birthday cake everyone was very helpful.
