We have went 3 times in the last month. Each time we stood in the lobby waiting to be greeted and seated for over 15 mins. No one even spoke to us even though they saw us. Tried to give it multiple try’s since we love this type of food but we won’t be back. I feel this is the main reason they are going down. There were several people in the lobby who were waiting as well, many left too. Losing so much potential income this way!!!
Mimi’s on Woodruff Road is shut down for good so no one wastes their time trying to go there. The only one left open is Simpsonville.
Delicious!! Prices aren’t bad either. Love the interaction with the chef as he cooks the food in front of you. The display is awesome!
Very horrible experience!!!! Called and made reservations for my daughters birthday for 14 people. First of all They didn't have our reservation down so we had to be put on the waiting list. The hostess (Courtney) was so rude and had such a smart mouth that I wanted to walk out immediately but since we had children excited to eat their we stayed. This place used to be great! However it has really went down hill. The service was awful and the cooks seemed very limited. We were there for 2 hrs tonight, never once was our table cleared of plates, empty cups etc. everything piled up! The soup was not edible as it was so salty, we never got a salad until long after they started the hibachi. Terrible experience!! I was apart of a party of 12. It was a work Christmas dinner. The host was nice and will to help accomodate our large party. After being seated we waited 10-15 mins before a waiter came to our table for drink orders. The room was full of smoke and not ventilated at all. The party next to us was seated after us and they were all fed before us. We watched in amazement at the show of tricks the chef provided the other party. What happened on Christmas Eve?? No wait staff. Several reservations "lost". Cook was great. He was doing several jobs. Several unhappy customers with no explanations.
