It does not look like I finished my comment. My son sent the most beautiful arrangement that came from Mimi's. It had all different shades of purple. This is the only arrangement I have gotten from here, but they were simply beautiful. They have lasted a week. Great job.

Update: Saturday about 6pm replacement flowers were dropped off... almost three days after my aunts Thursday calls. I feel a little better that a replacement was sent... but three days is a little long to wait to get a replacement. Its unfortunate this could not have been done right the first time.
My father passed away this weekend. My girlfriend in Miami sent flowers to the family in Tallahassee from Mimi's. The flowers arrived Monday at 5pm. We changed the water and took good care of the flowers for a few days. By Thursday morning the flowers looked REALLY sad as most of them were wilted and drooping. My aunt called about the sub-standard flowers Thursday morning, left a message an no one called back. Received a gorgeous birthday fresh flower arrangement from Mimi's. In my 50+ years have never seen such a fresh flower arrangement with so much detail. Was awed with at least 6 different flowers, curl ribbons all around and even a birthday blower. This florist cares.
Review
This florist made delivery of flowers intended as a birthday treat into a day-long ordeal. Apparently their deliveries can only be accomplished during a 3-hour window. It even reached the point where I suggested that they refund the sender's money since it was obviously too difficult for the company to handle delivery in a competent fashion.
The company incorrectly read when the order was to be delivered. They called later that day and said they were coming to take back the flowers! It is in such bad taste. It ruined my husband's surprise. I will NEVER order from them.
Mimi is the most talented florist I have seen in many, many years. She did all of the flowers for our daughter's wedding and they were absolutely breathtaking. Her prices are also very reasonable. Mimi does an excellent job!!
