Learn the real facts! – I am the owner of Mimi's Tanning Shak. I am not hiding from the public with an anonymous name like " irateu" has decided to do. I am not active on City Search so to find that my salon has been slandered by an unknown reviewer is beyond shady it is plain wrong! Fake Bake! No ID Check! – My kid came home one day and had obviously been allowed to tan at a tanning salon, without my consent. After much deliberation, I was told that Mimi's Tanning Shak allowed my kid to tan... no questions asked! I spent hours explaining the dangers of tanning to my kid. Apparently Mimi's is more concerned with making money than preserving heathly skin concerning kids. I was also told that everyone just sits around and talks about other people. Mimi's is like a plaque to our community and to our kids.
Best Tanning in Triangle area – Awesome customer service, very knowledeable of products and tanning beds. Keeps stock of brand new product lines. BEST beds ever. You will definately be making a mistake if you don't stop by "The Shak" in Knightdale. Great atmosphere.
Awesome Place – Mimi's is the greatest place to tan. I have tanned at alot of differnt places and Mimis is by far the best.
When the Beach is Out of Reach – This is the best get away without actually leaving town! I have gone to tan and got caught up in the conversation and been there for a lot longer! Mimi and Paul are like family to everyone that come in.
