Worst experience ever at a ER room in Erie County. No compassion or assistance upon arrival. "Dr. Barr" - Zero stars if possible. Disrespected patient. Poor communication, spent more time looking at his phone than interacting with patient. Walked two steps in ER room, plopped into a chair, never introduced himself. Worst experience at this hospital! I would never return! Started with ER and conflicting reports from 2 doctors and led to a stay that had so many errors and miscommunications. I had one great doctor once I was admitted as a patient (Dr Bambino) that came in and tied together why I was told differing reports, but he alone could not outweigh what I experienced as a whole and gain back my trust with the LECOM system! This place is ridiculous! Ignorant Dr. Dismissive. Didn't want to listen to anything. Impatient. Rude. Now, the ER.... Me and I other patient, 3+ hours, still waiting for any kind of result, information, SOMETHING.... Nothing. No call bell, no little table thing, nothing. If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke and to be honest I don’t know why I haven’t stopped coming awhile ago when they told me my son had chicken pox in only 2 minutes of looking at him. (our family doctor said he did not and the er doctor was stupid). They had me waiting for over an hour just for the “doctor” to come in and check me out for less than a minute, he didn’t care to listen to me.. The doctor we had was amazing. He listened to what has been going on. Turns out he has been dealing with stomach ulcers for the last 3 months. Puking EVERYDAY! The other doctors at HAMOT and SV didn’t want to listen to us and just sent us home. Very happy we finally can get some sleep now. Although the receptionist I talked to Jenny I think was absolutely lazy.
